NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN SAX PLAYERS

The National Association of Women saxophonist born in 2021 as a organization of artistic-cultural, active and innovative, that responds proactively to a series of challenges existing in the present. It is constituted by women saxophonists Spanish exercising their profession, both within and outside of our borders, demonstrating the dedication, ability and altruism of its components. Specifically is composed by Xelo Giner Antich, Sara Zazo Romero, Irene Fernández Mena, Juana Palop Tecles, Cristina Orts Benimell, Aurora Vives Prada, Judith Montero Imaz, Ana Lencina Sanchez and Aroa López García. Has as main objectives to build a favorable environment to display their thoughts, concerns, and work, shed light on the role of the woman as artist in all its aspects, and to generate actions that balance a balance in gender issues. Aware that the current situation should be much to all those women who defied the society in which he lived, the women of the XXI century we can develop an artistic work today and offer empowerment to the women of this so that you have concerning the woman of the future. The XIX World Congress of the Saxophone is a quote of value inescapable to create a network of saxophonists relating to the women of the present and the future.

PROGRAM NOTES

In this concert is a representation of the ANMS, we wanted to provide a small program that shows mode of the brush strokes, a sketch of our intentions as partnership: a sample of diversity and equality, fellowship and art. To do this we have created this event in honor of the Woman and perform a special Tribute to the songwriter recently deceased KaijaSaariajo, programming works camerísticas of composers from diverse backgrounds and different ages.
